Hi, I’m Kelly.
I’m here to support you on your journey toward healing. My passion is helping people feel the way they want to feel—lighter, freer, and more connected to themselves.
I specialize in working with anxiety and trauma-related concerns, including childhood neglect, CPTSD, deployment-related stress, sexual abuse, and PTSD. I also support individuals experiencing grief, phobias, and OCD. My goal is to walk alongside you as you move toward a version of yourself that carries less pain and worry, helping you reclaim the joy and fulfillment that may feel out of reach right now.
You deserve to heal, and I’d be honored to help you on that path. I currently have availability for adult clients, and I look forward to meeting you. Let’s work together to help you find peace and reclaim the parts of life you’ve been longing to enjoy again.
Therapeutic Approach
I specialize in Supporting People with Unsupportive or Critical Families.
Growing up with parents who were unsupportive or overly critical can leave lasting wounds. You may find yourself doubting your worth or constantly seeking approval. Therapy provides a space to unpack these experiences and rebuild your sense of self. If you can relate to the following, we might be a good fit:
You were left to handle your own emotions as a child:
If you were taught to suppress your emotions or manage them alone, it can feel daunting to open up now. Together, we’ll explore those early patterns and work toward creating healthier ways to process and express your feelings. You’ve heard the phrase "If you cry, I'll give you something to cry about" countless times:
Growing up with messages like this can make emotions feel unsafe or even shameful. In therapy, we’ll challenge these messages and help you reclaim your right to feel and express emotions freely. You feel overly responsible for your parents’ emotions:
Being made to feel responsible for managing your parents’ feelings is an incredibly heavy emotional burden. Therapy can help you set boundaries, understand that you’re not responsible for others’ happiness, and prioritize your own emotional needs, not only with your parents, but in all of your important relationships. You’ve been struggling to set boundaries due to guilt or obligation:
If guilt keeps you from setting boundaries, you’re not alone. We’ll work together to understand and navigate the origins of your guilt, explore appropriate boundaries, and empower you to protect your well-being while maintaining meaningful connections, not out of obligation - but mutual desire. You never seem to feel “good enough” or worthy:
These feelings often stem from early experiences of criticism or lack of validation. In our work together, we’ll explore where these beliefs come from and help you develop a stronger, more compassionate sense of self-worth.
